In April 2021, I moved from the city to the countryside, nestled between the two big rivers Maas and Waal. Meanwhile, I started to get unexplainable health problems. Over the course of a year, I held on to my camera to process both the tension and magic of this transition. ‘Between Two Rivers’ is about grounding yourself when there’s no control and discovering a sense of place in a new environment.
